DIG plays local music you choose. No DIG account registration is needed. Full use requires online purchase license verification through Google Play. The app verifies the response locally and stores license evidence for up to 180 days of offline use. DIG does not upload music, folders, presets or playback history for this check and adds no DIG backend. Google's policies apply to data processed by Google Play. The app has no advertising or analytics service.

Folder access is granted through Android. DIG reads file names, audio and metadata to browse and play music. The trash action permanently deletes a chosen audio file only after confirmation. File providers you select are governed by their own policies.

Settings, the selected folder, playlist and playback position are stored in the app's private storage. Temporary audio indexes support playback and are cleaned up by the player. Android app backup is disabled. Clear app data or uninstall to remove private data; your original music is not removed by uninstalling. Android settings can manage or revoke access.

Foreground playback and wake locks keep music running in the background. Vibration provides button feedback. DIG does not request microphone, location or contacts access.

When “Shake simulation” is enabled, DIG uses gyroscope and linear acceleration data only to control tape motion in real time.

“Dynamic button reflections” is off by default and can be turned on or off under “Device simulation” in “Player settings”. When enabled, DIG uses device orientation data only to render lighting on the four round buttons, the MODE button, grooves and tape wheel locally in real time, without affecting sound. Its switch is independent of “Shake simulation”.

These sensor readings are processed only on the device in real time and are neither stored nor uploaded. The corresponding readings stop when the relevant feature is turned off, DIG goes into the background or the screen turns off. Your choices for the feature switches are saved in local settings and do not include sensor readings.

This website stores your language choice in your browser and uses it when you next enter from the homepage. Clear this site’s browser data to remove that preference.

When you visit, the hosting provider may process connection information needed to deliver the page, such as IP addresses and request logs, under its own policy. The DIG app cannot access that information.
